Rent downhill, snowboard, and telemark equipment
In the ski rental shop at Gålå Alpin, you will find downhill skis, snowboards, boots, and poles for children and adults. We also have telemark equipment for adults. We’ll help you find the right size and fit before you head out onto the slopes. Helmets can be borrowed for free when you ski with us.
How to rent skis with us
You don’t need to book skis in advance. The equipment is fitted when you arrive, so we can find the right boot, ski length, and settings for you. Feel free to come at opening time if you want to get out on the slopes quickly.

Gålå Alpin – ski rental and service

The ski rental follows the ski resort’s opening hours. During the regular season, it is open daily from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Current opening hours are published regularly.
Equipment is fitted when you arrive. Please allow some time to find the right boot, ski length, and settings, especially on busy days.
We also offer ski service for downhill skis, telemark skis, cross-country skis, and snowboards.
Gålåseter – cross-country and winter equipment
Cross-country · ski sleds · snowshoes · ice fishing gear etc.
Opening hours vary throughout the season and are adjusted based on guest occupancy and demand.
If you are renting cross-country skis or other winter equipment, we recommend contacting us in advance so you know when the equipment can be picked up.
Other winter equipment such as child sleds, ice fishing gear, sledding mats, and similar items can be reserved as long as we have equipment available.
